
VOT Community Conferences CIC aims to advance humanity, social cohesion, inclusion, fairness, equity, compassion, and anti-racism practices through meaningful accessible educational workshops and conferences across England. Empowering individuals, organisations and communities to challenge division and discrimination, and inspire social cohesion and safer environment for all.
Objectives of VOT Community Conferences CIC
- To help create safer, more unified environment where every individual is truly seen, heard, and valued through the provision of educational conferences and workshops, community events, and advocacy initiatives.
- To promote inclusive leadership and social cohesion through community conferences, workshops, and public awareness and media campaigns.
- To deliver educational programmes that empower individuals, organisations, and communities to identify, challenge, and reduce discriminatory practices and behaviours.
- To organise an annual Community Anti-Racism Conference, providing a free or low-cost and accessible platform that amplifies community voices, promotes collective learning, and inspires positive social change.
- To inspire youth engagement and leadership by educating young people on humanity, fairness and compassion to enable them to champion inclusion within their schools and communities.
- To reinvest grants and generated incomes into community-based initiatives towards promoting humanity, inclusion, social justice, anti-racism education, and cohesive communities.
- To expand the CIC’s services and partnerships from its base in Horsham, West Sussex, to other communities across England.
