
VOT Community Conferences CIC aims to advance equity, inclusion and anti-racism through educational campaigns, workshops and conferences across England. Empowering individuals, organisations and communities to challenge discrimination, and inspire equity, inclusion and social cohesion.
Objectives of VOT Community Conferences CIC
- To advance equity, inclusion, and anti-racism through the provision of transformative education, community events, and advocacy initiatives across England.
- To promote social understanding and cohesion by delivering community conferences, workshops, and public awareness campaigns that foster empathy, mutual respect, and unity among diverse groups.
- To deliver educational programmes that empower individuals, organisations, and communities to identify, challenge, and dismantle discriminatory practices and behaviours.
- To organise an annual Community Anti-Racism Conference, providing a free and accessible platform that amplifies community voices, promotes collective learning, and inspires positive social change.
- To inspire youth engagement and leadership development, inspiring young people to champion equality, diversity, and inclusion within their schools, workplaces, and communities.
- To reinvest grants, sponsorships, and generated income into community-based initiatives that promote social justice, anti-racism education, and inclusive community development.
- To expand the CIC’s services and partnerships from its base in Horsham, West Sussex, to other communities across England, creating safer, more unified, and equitable environments where everyone is seen, heard, and valued.
