Course Outline
This training will support social work and social care staff particularly new migrants to the UK to integrate and be acquainted with the general principles of practice, work ethics and culture differences.
Learnings
• Participants will learn ways they can integrate into the UK culture, understanding the cultural differences and overcoming barriers.
• Gain practical knowledge of the Law, social work /social care values and ethics that inform practice along with useful resources for working with, and promoting diversity.
• Participants will be able to reflect on the discussion points to learn more about themselves, their perception and worldview and how this might influence their practice.
